The church, formerly a convent, lies in substantial grounds in Culduthel Road, Inverness. The parish priest is Father Stuart Chalmers, who was appointed in the summer of 2008. We are fortunate that, with the assistance of Deacon John McEwan and other parishioners, we have a strong parish team.
The story of the church and its development
during the last 25 years, is told in detail in a booklet "The History of
St. Ninian's" (for details, see the What's New? page) . It is summarised
here.
Our parishioners are kept up-to-date with events in the parish by our Newsletter
which is printed weekly. The What's New? page
is the Newsletter online. So, if you misplace your paper copy, you will find
it on this site.
We also have a selection of links to other sites that
may be of interest.
The weekly service times are as follows:
Mass (Sunday) 11.30 a.m. Saturday (Vigil) 5 p.m.
Sacrament of Reconciliation Saturday 4 - 4.45 p.m.
Benediction and Vespers Sunday 5 p.m.
There are also daily services, details of which are in the Newsletter and in
What's New? .
Visitors to the church will recognise the colours used in this site, as they
reflect the gold altar carpet and backdrop and the pine ceiling, and the white
walls.
